Invited by Pastor Yesaya Pariadji, senior pastor of Gereja Tiberias Indonesia (Tiberias Church Indonesia), to be the guest speaker during his church’s Christmas celebration, Joseph Prince was in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 7–9 December 2007.
On the evening of Saturday, 8 December 2007, thousands packed the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium to celebrate Christmas and to hear Joseph preach. In the candlelit stadium that was charged up with the presence of God, Joseph expounded on John 8:12. He also shared with the congregation about how Jesus is the light of the world who will deliver them from any area of darkness in their lives.
Joseph’s message was simultaneously interpreted into Bahasa Indonesia, and impacted between 150,000 and 200,000 people.
Joseph Prince was in Canada from 26 October to 5 November 2007, on special invitation by Pastor Peter Youngren, senior pastor of Niagara Celebration Church (NCC) and Toronto International Celebration Church (TICC). Joseph had been invited to speak at the Growing In Grace Conference and a special Leadership Growth Day.
Sunday, 28 October 2007, was a busy day for Joseph as he was shuttled to and fro between NCC and TICC to preach at three Sunday services. Several precious souls responded to his altar calls, but the best was still to come.
The Growing In Grace Conference was held over three evenings from Monday, 29 October, to Wednesday, 31 October 2007. Joseph’s enthusiastic listeners, hungry for the pure gospel, gave him their full attention and were very vocal in their encouragement with spontaneous cheers and calls of “Amen!”. The laughter that rang out freely throughout each session was also testament to Joseph’s sharp wit and ready humour. By the end of the Conference, and including those from the Sunday services, a total of 30 souls had been ushered into God’s kingdom.
Joseph also spoke at two of three sessions of the Leadership Growth Day on Wednesday, 31 October 2007. One of these was a Q&A dialogue facilitated by Pastor Peter Youngren, which, judging from the smiles on all the participants’ faces, was extremely well-received.
Joseph Prince was in the United Kingdom from 10–14 October 2007 to speak at the Hillsong Europe Conference, as well as at three Sunday services at Hillsong London.
Invited specially by Pastor Brian Houston, senior pastor of the Hillsong churches, Joseph’s two Conference sessions at the ExCel London were a roaring success. He ministered to an estimated 9,000 delegates and visitors from all over the world, and judging from the on-the-spot interviews conducted by our video team, many of them had come with hearts full of excited anticipation. In addition, more than 100 individuals responded to the altar calls and gave their lives to Jesus.
Sunday, 14 October 2007, was a busy day for Joseph. He preached two services to the Hillsong London congregation at the Dominion Theatre in London, addressing about 5,000 people in total, with 40 souls receiving salvation. Then he was rushed to The Leatherhead Theatre in Surrey, where he unveiled Jesus to another 500 members of Hillsong London. About five people came to know the Lord there.
Keen for his congregation to be impacted by more power-packed sermons on the grace of God, Pastor Yesaya Pariadji, senior pastor of Gereja Tiberias Indonesia (Tiberias Church Indonesia), invited Joseph Prince to be the guest speaker during his church’s 17th anniversary celebrations.
And so from 16–18 August 2007, Joseph was in Jakarta, Indonesia, ministering to an estimated 24,000 people over two services on Friday, 17 August 2007, at 1pm and 6pm. Held at the Balai Sarbini, these services were attended by more than 2,500 people each, and were broadcast live in six other venues. Both messages were simultaneously interpreted into Bahasa Indonesia.
The atmosphere was full of expectancy throughout Joseph’s sessions, as the congregation eagerly received the Word in season through his preaching.
Spontaneous cheers and awed silence alternated in the electrically charged atmosphere of the Acer Arena in the Sydney Olympic Park, Australia, as Joseph Prince delivered the pure gospel of grace to delegates from all over the world. They heard him share powerful and liberating truths from the Bible over two power-packed sessions (9am on Wednesday, 4 July 2007, and 4.30pm on Thursday, 5 July 2007).
Hillsong Conference 2007 was attended by more than 26,000 people from about 70 nations. Invited by Pastor Brian Houston, senior pastor of Hillsong Church, Joseph was also interviewed live by Mark Zschech on the programme Hillsong Today on Friday, 6 July 2007. The short but impactful 10-minute segment was not only watched by all the conference participants present in the stadium, but was also aired on the Australian Christian Channel, which is broadcast across Australia via cable television.
Joseph’s resource materials were snapped up by the eager conference delegates, while pastors and ministers from all over the world approached him to thank him for the revelations he had shared with them, and express their support for his ministry. Preaching invitations poured in from various places including the United States, Australia and Peru.
The congregation of Hillsong Church enjoyed another four services with Joseph on Sunday, 8 July 2007, at both the Hills and City campuses. About 9,500 individuals attended the sessions in all, with many souls responding to the altar calls and giving their lives to Jesus.
Gospel Revolution 2007! The rallying call of these words, splashed across Jakarta, heralded Joseph Prince’s visit to Gereja Tiberias Indonesia (Tiberias Church Indonesia). Invited by the senior pastor, Yesaya Pariadji, Joseph ministered the Word of grace to thousands of hungry souls in six services held over a period of three days. All of his messages were simultaneously translated into Bahasa Indonesia.
On Friday, 20 April 2007, the Istora Senayan — Jakarta’s version of the Singapore Indoor Stadium — was charged up with the presence of God as Joseph’s message, delivered in his passionate, witty style, impacted about 20,000 youths and young adults. At the end of that electrifying evening, about 10,000 of them responded to the altar call!
The morning of Saturday, 21 April 2007, saw Joseph ministering the Word to some 2,500 core leaders and servers from Tiberias Church. The venue, Balai Sarbini, was packed again that evening as a crowd of 2,500 gathered to listen to Joseph preach. His salvation call was answered by about 1,000 individuals.
Joseph preached at three services on Sunday, 22 April 2007. The morning service was held at Tiberias Centre in Kelapa Gading, and the later two at Balai Sarbini. In that one day, about 6,500 people were impacted by the gospel of grace, and about 2,700 souls received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
