I had been listening to Joseph Prince’s messages about the power of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. When I first listened to them, I felt so encouraged and continued hearing them consistently for about two months. They got me completely immersed in the Word of God.

One day, I had trouble with my air-conditioning unit at home. The repairman who checked it said the necessary repairs would not be covered my insurance. He also said the unit would freeze up every day and recommended that I get a new one.

While he was speaking, Pastor Prince’s message was playing and I heard something reminding me that I am not an average person. I started speaking in tongues under my breath while the repairman continued to talk.

After that, I thanked the repairman for his time and said I would be in touch at a later time as I did not want to make a decision yet. After he left, I declared the Word of the Lord upon myself and the situation—that I was above and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13).

I also told God, “Lord, You said You would rebuke the devourer for my sake.” I also asked the Lord to restore my air-con unit to a brand-new state and believed that He would.

That night, my home felt very cold—it was as if I had turned on a brand-new air-con unit! I kept praising the Lord for His miracle-working power. And each time the unit made strange sounds, I would continue to thank the Lord and speak in tongues under my breath.

Praise God that I’ve not had to call the repairman again and that my air-con unit has not frozen up like he said it would.

May God bless Joseph Prince’s ministry for helping me trust completely in my Lord. Praise Him for all that He has done on my behalf at the cross!
