Back To Work After Eight Years, Promoted To Regional Position In Eight Months

I was out of work for almost eight years raising my kids and finishing school. Finally, my husband and I decided it was time for me to return to work.

I have been listening to the gospel of grace preached by Pastor Joseph Prince for over two years now and truly believe that God wants me to have His best. So around last July, I emailed a prayer request to Joseph Prince Ministries asking that prayers be made that God bless me with not just a job but a position of influence.

After applying for several management jobs, I reluctantly accepted an entry level position in customer service at a large telecommunications company. After working in the job for a few months, I found myself hating to go to work. When I told Daddy God that this is not the position of influence that I’d asked for, His response was, “My beloved, I have given you a position of influence and there is no good thing that I will ever withhold from you.” After that day, it seemed like all of my burdens were lifted concerning the job. Although my job didn’t change, something changed on the inside of me because of Daddy’s abundant love.

Well, about six months after I started this job, a supervisor’s position became available. I applied for it along with numerous other applicants. In the natural, my chances of getting the job were very slim as all the other applicants had more seniority. However, because I am deeply loved, I was the only applicant who ever made it to the second round of interviews.

Consequently, not only did I get the supervisor’s position, but I was also offered the position of a Regional Sales Coach in a new department that the company just opened. Since training is my passion, I am no longer frustrated on the job. I’m working more hours than ever but now every minute at work seems like play! Not only do I love going to work, but with this new position my salary has more than doubled and I’ve only been working at the company for eight months! Did I mention that I also get a monthly bonus?

Before I heard the gospel of grace, I never would have believed that this type of blessing could happen to me. But because all I have listened to for the last two years was God’s grace, my spirit has been soaring and my faith escalating.

Your ministry has changed my entire life—my marriage, my finances and my faith. I have never been happier in my life. There is something about knowing and believing how deeply God loves you that frees you to receive all that He has for you. Daddy God created an entirely new department just so I could get a position of influence. Because of grace, I don’t get what I deserve, I get what Jesus deserves.
