I was involved in a biblical research ministry since I was 21. Even though I was spending hours and hours studying God’s Word, I always felt that I’d fallen short of God’s standards and was afraid that I would break fellowship with God, as I’d been taught. In 1989, my husband, Pete, and I finally left the ministry.

After leaving the ministry, I continued to study God’s Word on my own. However, nothing changed. I began listening to a preacher on TV but I began questioning where Jesus Christ fit in my life because I really wanted to know Him. I was taught that Jesus was the red thread in the Old Testament but I never saw Him in my studies.

In February 2011, my interest was piqued when a friend mentioned that she was watching Joseph Prince. When I finally heard him preach, he caught my heart as his teaching answered a question I had for 35 years! So I ordered a CD and it happened to be about 1John 1:7—But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. After I’d listened to it, I told Pete about it and we both realized there is no broken fellowship between God and His children! That changed our lives!

We started listening to Pastor Joseph Prince at the time I was 56 and had just begun work as a registered nurse. I clenched my teeth a lot because of the stress of the new job and the responsibility of taking care of people’s lives. After listening to Pastor Prince for a period of time, I no longer clench my teeth that much and when I do, I remind myself that “I cannot but He can!”

Pete and I are so addicted to the message of our beautiful Savior, Jesus Christ, that we even decided to put the sermons on while we are sleeping. Before hearing the messages, we were fighting a lot. Now, we have the sweetness back like when we were first married. My relationships with my children and grandchildren have also changed.

Day by day, my life gets better. My health is getting renewed like the eagle’s. My marriage is becoming intoxicating like fine wine and my job is not as stressful. Life is so sweet now because Jesus Christ now has an active place in my life. HE IS LORD!
