I’ve been studying God’s protection since Pastor Prince released his book The Prayer of Protection. It taught me to plead the blood of Jesus over my family and see them covered under His wings. I also prayed for His protection every night after moving back home temporarily.

One day, I felt an urge to watch Pastor Prince’s sermons. So I watched them continuously, fueling myself with truths from God’s Word. That night, my brothers’ bunk bed suddenly collapsed. When it happened, one of my three brothers was on the top bunk while another was lying on the floor next to it. Both of them were completely unharmed.

My brother, who happened to be lying on the floor, said he would usually be on his bed in the bottom bunk. But he was on the floor when the bed collapsed because his phone was being charged there. If he had been on the bottom bunk, he would have been crushed.

Not only that, I had felt led to ask my third brother to install an application on my laptop before the incident happened. This had protected him because he had to be outside of the room with me while carrying out the task. The bunk bed had actually collapsed toward his desk, even leaving a mark where he always sits!

My family and I were understandably shaken by this incident. My father said that my brothers had possibly escaped death. Indeed, the Lord had protected me and my family from harm. There’s no saying how badly injured my brothers could have been. Praise God for His protection!
