One time, my daughter overslept and missed the school bus that was supposed to take her mountain sledding. As a result, she had to take another bus.

She left home without her winter jacket even though the weather was at minus 5 degrees Celsius. Her friend had borrowed it and had not returned it in time. I became worried about my daughter but remembered from Pastor Prince’s book, The Prayer of Protection, to worry less and pray instead.

So I asked God to protect my daughter from the cold and bless her with an enjoyable day. I trusted in His goodness and protection because of His promise in Psalm 91:14–15—“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him.”

When my daughter returned home that evening, she shared excitedly about the beautiful day she had. She also said she borrowed a winter jacket from a girl on the bus who happened to have two jackets with her.

Praise God for this wonderful testimony! Thank You, Jesus! And thank you, Pastor Prince, for your books and sermons that have inspired me.
