I sent a prayer request to your ministry 3 months ago for my daughter. She is 25 years old and has been sober for 20 months, but she was still smoking weed with her boyfriend. She needed to stop as she was hired as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and her training would start soon.

She wanted to stop smoking weed and vaping, but she lived with her boyfriend and his uncle, and they all smoked weed. When she told them she needed to stop, they suggested the easier route of getting a medical marijuana card.

She knew she should not be living with her boyfriend. He doesn’t work and spends most of his time playing video games. In my prayer request, I asked God to lead, guide, and give her strength and resolve to do the right thing.

About a month after the request, she started to study the Bible and pray more. She asked her boyfriend to join her, but he wasn’t interested. She started CNA training and began to come to my house to study so she could focus. She then decided to leave her boyfriend for good and move back home since she realized they weren’t moving in the same direction. They had been together for about 2 years. That was the last time she smoked weed. She was able to realize how detrimental the relationship and situation were to her.

She passed her CNA training at the top of her class and passed her exam. She has a full-time job now and is doing well, earning more money than she ever did. She has also stopped vaping, which has been a struggle since she had smoked and vaped for 10 years.

It has been such a blessing to have her back home and doing remarkably well. She has turned back to God after a very difficult ten years, to say the least. Thank you so much for your prayers!
