I wish to give God all the glory and testify of His goodness in my life. As the Word of God says in Revelation 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony...” I did not share my testimony earlier for fear that others would judge me. However, I cannot keep this to myself anymore as my heart is so full of love for God.

For a long time, I was addicted to masturbation. I hated myself for it as I was serving in my church as a worship leader. I could hear the devil’s accusations against me as I stood before God’s people each time. Eventually, I stopped serving and also stopped attending church.

Then one day, I started listening to Pastor Prince’s message on grace. I realized that despite all that I had done, God still loves me. My heart was touched by the message and I began to see who I am in Christ. As I slowly learned not to fight my addiction with my own strength but to rest in the grace of God, my addition started to go away. There were times I fell back to my old ways but these times were getting fewer and fewer

Now, I am free from my addiction and am thankful to God that I have returned to serve in my church. I understand that God does not judge or condemn me but loves me for who I am. Nothing is impossible with God. Our part is to let go, let God, and rest in His grace.
