I accepted Christ at a young age, but over the years I fell into addiction to drugs and sexual immorality.

In 2007, I went through Teen Challenge, a rehabilitation program. After graduating from the program, I still felt like something was missing and fell back into drugs. The addiction was worse than before. I was also constantly confessing my sins and thought that I had lost my salvation. It came to a point where I no longer wanted to live.

Then, about a year ago, my mom told me about Joseph Prince. It was a relief to hear that he had also struggled with his view of God, and had also thought that he always had to confess his sins to be right with God.

I read Joseph’s book, Unmerited Favor, last year and I remember the scales falling off my eyes. I could see Jesus and His love for me. Since then, I have read The Power of Right Believing and Jesus has delivered me from every addiction. I finally know what it is like to rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

It is now great to be a follower of Christ. I have always thought that it was a grind in the name of legalistic religion, but now I know that it is true freedom.

I thank Jesus for His great love for me, for Joseph Prince, and the ministry that God has given him. Joseph Prince’s sermons and books have been a great blessing in my life and to many others.
