Divine Protection From Potentially Fatal Car Accidents

A year ago, my four-year-old grandson and I were involved in a serious car accident. A car ran a red light and hit our vehicle broadside.

The collision sent us over the median and onto the road with opposing traffic. As I felt my car spinning, I cried, “JESUS!”…and the car came to a complete stop. Praise the Lord that there were also no cars coming toward us!

When I checked on my grandson, I realized that he had no idea an accident had just occurred. It was as if an angel covered his eyes. He was completely unaware of what had just happened. There is no doubt in my mind that Jesus came to our rescue at the right moment. My grandson walked away from the accident with absolutely no injuries and I walked away from it with only mild soreness. Praise the Lord!

Following that accident, I began to read Pastor Prince’s new book The Prayer of Protection, and began to pray Psalm 91 daily. I believed Luke 10:19—that the Lord would protect my children and that nothing shall by any means hurt our family. A few months later, my daughter was also involved in a serious accident where her car was also hit by a vehicle that ran a red light. The airbags in her car were deployed, saving her from serious injury. My daughter walked away with only soreness.

When my daughter and I discussed the similarities of our accidents, I was able to share my strong belief in The Prayer of Protection. I had prayed Psalm 91 over my entire family about thirty minutes before her accident. I shared with her that I believed the Father’s hand was upon her, shielding her from fatal injury and preserving her life.

I am incredibly thankful to our heavenly Father for His protection. And I am extremely thankful for Pastor Prince’s book and his encouragement to pray Psalm 91 daily. I have seen with my own eyes and experienced for myself the power in faithfully proclaiming God’s Word over myself and my family. Hallelujah!
