I was driving home from work and was just getting onto a highway when someone in another car started shooting at me. The shots shattered the rear screen of my car.

When this happened, I sensed the Lord protecting me. He helped me to stay on the road without getting into an accident. He gave me strength to remain calm and I was even able to obtain information about the attacker’s car, which I provided to the police. It was not until I spoke to the police that I realized the attacker had shot at me with a pellet gun.

Despite the shooting, I was totally unharmed. Hallelujah! That morning, I had been reading aloud Psalm 18 and 91.

“I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”—Psalm 18:1–2 NASB

Truly, the Lord protected me during this ordeal—physically and emotionally.
