My 14-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter were diagnosed with severe non-verbal autism. They are unable to speak and were tested to have the mentality of a 3-year-old. Because of their condition, our family suffered incredible pain.

I began listening to Pastor Prince’s teachings in 2008. I also read his Destined To Reign Devotional book every day. And for 7 years, I prayed and proclaimed healing for both my children while looking to Jesus’ finished work on the cross.

The Lord has been telling me that my children are healed. He also showed me the verse from Isaiah 54:13—your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be their peace. Although I did not understand what the verse meant at that time, I would hold on to His promises. I would also declare God’s favor and grace over my children.

In 2015, Pastor Prince declared that year to be the year of God’s restoration. I claimed and confessed that promise over my family. I was also encouraged by his devotional titled, Watch What Jesus Does.

When my family exhausted all our funds in getting help for our children, we decided to stop trying and trust the Lord instead. Sometime later, my husband was offered a new job that required us to move to a new state. It had a school that was competent in non-verbal autism.

On our first visit to the school in August 2015, a miracle happened. After 13 years of not being able to talk to us, my son managed to type these words on his iPad, “I am longing to talk to you, Mom and Dad.” Two weeks later, my daughter typed, “You see good in me. Please let me come to school here!”

We later found out our children’s intellectual development was actually at their appropriate grade level and they could even read at an advanced level! For example, my son reads at grade 11 even though he’s only an 8-grader.

My son also let us know that the Lord had appeared in his dreams and told him everything was going to be all right. My son now aspires to be a minister so that he can pray for people with his condition to be healed. He is also trusting God for the ability to speak one day.

We finally have our family back and it’s all because of Jesus! He is faithful to fulfill every good promise in His Word. Best of all, my children love the Lord. We’re now looking forward to each new day with hope for a wonderful future. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching the message of grace.
