In 2009, the father of my children was murdered. It was tragic news that caused distress, anxiety, and sleeplessness for me. During this time, my granddaughter, who was in high school, gave birth to a boy. But she was not emotionally able to take care of him, and neither was her mother, who was dealing with the death of her biological father. Fortunately, the baby boy was adopted by a very loving and godly family.

The grief we experienced due to our tragic loss was overwhelming. My son was using alcohol heavily and taking pills to self-medicate. My husband prayed for me continually as I struggled with my children, grandchildren, and the trauma we were experiencing.

I was no longer working at that time because I was a total mess. Then, somewhere along the way, I started to listen to Pastor Prince’s messages on grace.

In 2013, things began to change. I began to experience deep healing. My son also went for treatment and has made great leaps in his life. He is no longer on alcohol or pills, and is worshipping in a church with others. My granddaughter and daughter are making strides in their healing, and my husband and I are still praying for them.

Thank you, Pastor Prince, for your life-giving sermons on grace and the love of our Father. I am forever changed by His amazing grace.
