Pastor Prince, I read your book, The Prayer of Protection, and learned not to take God’s protection for granted. Every morning, I would pray for myself, my husband, and our two-year-old son and hold on to God’s protection promises in Psalm 91.

One night, my husband asked me to drive home after a birthday party as he was feeling exhausted. I agreed without realizing that I was also too tired to drive.

As my husband and son napped in the car in peaceful silence, I fell asleep after some time while driving! We were almost reaching home when we were woken up by the noise of our car wheels rubbing against the sidewalk. I was so scared when I realized what was happening. Immediately, I steered the car properly back on the street.

Fortunately, there were no vehicles, people, or obstacles around us and our car only suffered a slight dent in one of the wheels. At that moment, Psalm 91:11 began echoing in my mind: He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. I believe God had sent His angels to keep us from harm that night. All praise to God!

What happened could have caused an accident. Thankfully, God’s mercy and grace had saved us. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for following the Lord’s call to preach His amazing love and grace.
