I am a believer for as long as I can remember. I was raised in a Christian home and always attended church. The last few years, I had become increasingly self-righteous and had been condemning others and myself as a result. This burden was ever increasing and I was really seeking God for answers.

On 1 January 2011, God gave me a Word, “The joy of the LORD is your strength.” I knew that I was lacking in joy and desperately wanted to feel it! I took hold of this Word and the Lord began to lead me and my family in a different direction. I heard about Joseph Prince but never heard his teachings before.

One day, my husband began listening to some of Joseph’s sermons and I heard some truths that I had never heard before! Never before was the gospel expounded so clearly to me. I was used to a mixture of law and grace, which left me confused and unable to attain full joy.

Now, we listen to your messages regularly and have been so blessed by the truths of the gospel!

I have also seen my husband transformed and the joy of the Lord manifest within my heart. I love that I did not have to work for this joy. I only had to allow the truth of what Jesus Christ has done for me to sink in to every part of my being, and rest in that truth.

I look forward to much more of God's love and ministry in my life, the lives of those around me and all who hear and accept the good news of Jesus Christ, for He is the person of grace!
