At age 14 or so, I became addicted to porn after working in a small grocery store that sold porn. When I recommitted to the Lord at 25 years old and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I was able to stay away from it for about 5 years before falling back into it. I hated myself for it since it led to more sin such as attending adult entertainment places.

I joined a word of faith church in 1986 and even became ordained and started pastoring. I managed to stay away from porn for a year or two during the next 25 years or so but kept slipping back. I hated myself for that.

Then I encountered the ministry of Pastor Joseph Prince and began listening to his messages daily. I cannot even tell you when the addiction broke. I was not even thinking of it. About 3 months after I began to listen to Pastor Prince, I realized that I was FREE! I have been completely free for 8 years. Even in the time when I was addicted and managed to stay away from porn, I had the desire for it. But not anymore!

It is wonderful not just to be free from porn but from the roots of the addiction. I realized soon after encountering Pastor Prince that I was in bondage to guilt, shame, and condemnation. These were the roots of my addiction. I began to hear of the love of God and the total forgiveness of my sins and my righteousness from Pastor Prince and what more can I say? The entire emphasis of our ministry has changed, and I am free!
