I was a cigarette smoker for 58 years, and I had been born again for 50 of those years.

I never could trust God to deliver me from that nasty habit. Then I started listening to Pastor Prince’s sermons about how much God loves me, and I am now standing on victory ground. I’m not the victim but the victor.

I began saying, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ,” every time I lit a cigarette. Finally, I told God that if He didn’t place in me whatever was needed for me to quit, I would just die a smoking Christian. That morning was the last cigarette I ever had. It has been more than one year since I have been free.
