Several years ago, I began to watch broadcasts from Joseph Prince Ministries on my local cable channel. The realization of God’s love for me has radically changed my thinking and my ministry as a pastor. I am writing to say thank you.

About six months ago, I was selected to be on the NBC show, Biggest Loser. I have struggled with weight for years and I had ballooned up to over 400 pounds. After being selected for the show, I went to California to begin my physical transformation. It was extremely difficult.

In a physical sense, it was the hardest thing I’ve done. And one of the reasons I found it difficult was that I was removed from my family, church and friends while I was there. That meant that I really had to rely on my trust in God to sustain me.

Frequently, actually probably close to daily, I would remember scriptural truths that Pastor Prince had ministered. I believe God loves me. I believe He is for me. I believe that even in my weakness (being overweight) He would not leave me but in His loving kindness would help me overcome this weakness.

The show just aired its eleventh episode, and at that point, I had lost 122 pounds. Praise God!
