I suffered from a broken heart after being divorced for a second time. Though I had tried my best to make the marriage work, in the end, we were just too different in our beliefs on children and family.

In my pain, I asked the Lord to erase the bad memories and heal my broken heart. I began looking up Scriptures and reading the Bible every day. I also started watching Pastor Prince on television every night.

Once, I heard Pastor Prince teach on beholding Jesus. He said that the more we behold Him, the more we will be changed from glory to glory. Through that message and others, I began to realize that I am God’s beloved. I also learned that I have been made righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ shed for me.

From that time on, an internal transformation began. I started feeling so much peace and happiness, a child-like happiness. I felt a sense of contentment I had not felt in years. Hallelujah!

Now, I read my Bible and behold Jesus every night. He has since not only delivered me from a broken heart, but also alcoholism—a habit I had for over two years. After being touched by grace, I no longer even think about drinking.

Indeed, God is pouring out His blessings on me. My Lord and Savior keeps me safe as I live under His grace. I praise God that I am continually being transformed through beholding and spending time with my Savior.
