I have been a Christian from the age of five but was only introduced to God’s grace in high school. However, after two years, I began hearing teachings about doing right to earn God’s blessings. Slowly but surely, this teaching destroyed my view of God.

To make things worse, the past three years were very challenging for me and my family. My mom became bedridden from an illness no doctor could explain. My dad hardly had any job to support our family and we had difficulty coping financially.

I was having problems with my relationships and every other area of my life was also falling apart. By the beginning of 2012, my life was in shambles. I was suffering from panic attacks that led me to believe that I could die at any moment. At the same time, I was completely worn out by erroneous teachings that taught me to battle whatever spirit that was harassing me.

After one such attack, I told God that I couldn’t handle it anymore. All of a sudden, I felt a warmth on my chest and I heard God telling me, “Okay, then don’t. Let Me take care of it. Let Me do it by Myself.”

It was during this time that I discovered Joseph Prince’s sermons. As I listened to them, I was reminded of God’s grace and goodness again. And the more I listened, the more God’s Spirit worked in me—healing me from panic attacks and filling me with His perfect peace that surpasses understanding.

Today, after a year of seeing more of Jesus in the Bible and listening to Joseph Prince’s messages, my father and I are getting tons of work. God has also given me new friendships for all the ones I’d lost. He even blessed me with a trip to Lucasfilm in San Francisco to watch the season finale of their animated show, The Clone Wars. I had told Him that I would like to go there some day and three weeks later, I won a contest to visit the location!

It has been so amazing to see God’s grace superabounding in my life and to be constantly reminded to rest in Jesus and what He has done for me. Thank you so much for preaching Jesus and reminding us to keep our eyes on Him, and that all that He is before God, we are!
