My husband and I used to smoke cigars together every evening for years and I’d even gotten to a point where I took breaks from work during the day just to have a puff. My husband was also doing the same.

I was so ashamed of my habit but the more I tried to quit, the more I wanted to smoke. It was so bad that I also couldn’t breathe as well as I used to and I ended up crying to the Lord for help.

I’ve been a believer for half my life but never heard the pure gospel of God’s love, forgiveness and righteousness through Jesus’ blood and sacrifice until we started listening to Joseph Prince’s teaching in 2010. Since then, our lives have been revolutionized.

I began to profess that I am the righteousness of God in Christ, even while smoking, and about a month later, we both quit the addiction. And a couple of months later, we just looked at each other and laughed because we realized that He had broken our habit and freed us together of that addiction on the same night on 5 August 2011!

I praise Jesus and want to encourage others to believe on Him for complete freedom! Praise the Lord Jesus forever!
