I was saved in 2006 on Mother’s Day. Then, I was trying to do things in my own strength and power because I’d not heard of the grace of God. So I couldn’t understand why my life didn’t change. I was still homeless, I couldn’t get a job because I had no address, and I had lost my family because I’d turned to drugs to cope.

That year, I met a lady who invited me to her home church where people gathered and listened to messages from a few pastors, including Joseph Prince.

Initially, when I heard the message of grace, I couldn’t believe that God loved me after all the things that I had done. I was never taught about the full extent of what Jesus did on the cross. Now, I am learning that I am the daughter of the King of kings and my life has changed dramatically.

I get the daily devotionals every day via email and on my Facebook from Joseph Prince. I can’t go through a day not hearing about how much God loves me and accepts me. I now know who I am in Christ and that God loves me and accepts me fully.

It's hard to put into words just what has happened in my life, but I am learning to walk in ‘heaven on earth’. Now, I am grounded in God’s love and the knowledge that Jesus lives in me and will never ever forsake me. It’s so awesome that I can’t understand why I had tried to run from His love in the first place.
