Growing up, I struggled deeply with sexual promiscuity and was hooked on drugs and alcohol. Partying became my pursuit in life because I felt that nothing brought me hope. I had no true joy. I was not close to God at all. I did not even feel that I needed Him because I was so far removed from thinking about Jesus. I was afraid that if something happened to me, I would go to hell because of the way I was living.

When I visited my father, we would drink and smoke together. Yet, even while intoxicated, my father would listen to sermons on the television and read his Bible. I noticed more than once that when Pastor Prince’s broadcast was on, a supernatural peace would fill the room. Even my father’s demeanor would become calm and at peace.

At that time, I had been in trouble with the law, and somehow, I felt prompted to listen to Pastor Prince’s sermons. So I began tuning in on YouTube on my phone each night, and this went on for months.

I was saved when I was 5 years old and grew up in church, but I had never heard the Bible taught the way Pastor Prince shares it. God broke down every wall that had kept me from being intimate with Jesus. Before I knew it, I began to experience God’s peace and started to believe in Him like never before.

Jesus helped me through my difficult period and even delivered me from sexual promiscuity. He also helped me overcome my addiction to drugs and alcohol. It has been years since then, and I know that if I had not spent time listening to the messages, I would not have made it, because I would not have believed that Jesus has forgiven me and truly loves me.

God also blessed me tremendously by enabling me to return to university. I am so grateful for what God has done in my life. I can hardly believe the things I used to do, but God’s power has delivered me from them all. Thank You, Jesus!
