Seven years ago, I went through a divorce but knew in my heart this was not God’s will and that He would restore my marriage. As the years went by, I just went about life with our 2 daughters and kept in communication with my ex-husband.

In 2021, we began drifting apart, and I started wondering, Jesus, are You still going to restore my marriage? Although I was praying and reading my Bible, I wasn’t spending much time in the Word or praying specifically for restoration.

Sometime this year, I got a call from my ex-husband that he was moving on. He was in a relationship and was looking at marrying. I broke down immediately and went from begging him not to leave me and the kids to a downward spiral of depression. I isolated myself from everybody except my kids. I was so emotional and, for a brief time, even questioned Jesus why He was letting this happen.

After a few weeks, I got a grip on myself. God spoke to me through watching television that He allows certain situations to happen to awaken a person. I realized I needed to feed on the Word and pray. So I buried myself in the Word and have not stopped. I started watching YouTube messages from this ministry, writing down scriptures for marriage restoration, and meditating on them. I also sent in prayer requests.

I began worshiping and praising Jesus, and even though the situation did not change, Jesus started changing me on the inside. I started forgiving people I had forgotten about, and Jesus showed me things I had to work on in my life.

I want to sing praises nonstop to Jesus. My marriage and family have been restored. My ex-husband came over and said he wanted to work on our marriage and family. Jesus is so good!
