For years, my marriage felt lifeless, and I feared brokenness and collapse were inevitable. Despite our love for our children, animosity defined our relationship. It resembled that of a divorced couple living under one roof. I didn’t seek restoration for our marriage as I couldn’t envision a future with my husband.

Then, my husband and I began listening to Pastor Joseph Prince’s Christ-centered sermons daily. All the while, I struggled with my anger and bitterness and resisted the Holy Spirit’s promptings to forgive. However, the transformative power of God’s Word began to unfold in my life.

Scripture teaches that beholding Jesus leads to a transformation from glory to glory, and indeed, I have been transformed. The realization of God’s forgiveness toward me compelled me to extend forgiveness to my husband. Embracing the truth that I am righteous in Christ also brought about astonishing changes in me. Truly, God’s unmerited favor is amazing!

Some time ago, my husband and I had a deep conversation and relinquished all pent-up hurt, anger, and bitterness. Through the Lord’s grace, we found the strength to forgive each other, something we couldn’t accomplish on our own.

We rededicated our marriage to God, committing to meditate on His Word and listen to Joseph Prince’s sermons together daily. Our children were astounded and overjoyed. This turnaround in what seemed like an impossible situation is miraculous. All glory to Jesus!
