Medical Charges Supernaturally Cleared

This is a testimony of God’s great goodness and mercy.

Several months ago, my wife was hospitalized for a medical procedure. While the procedure was not life-threatening, it was very expensive.

As we are blessed with very good health insurance and we had met most of the coinsurance requirements, we learned that the procedure would cost us only $420, which we paid before the surgery. Everything went well and with God’s help, my wife made a speedy recovery.

Within a few weeks after the operation, my wife and I began to receive copies of letters from the insurance company written to the doctor requesting a review of the procedure and the charges. The correspondence went on for a month and we assumed that everything was being taken care of when we no longer received the letters.

However, a few weeks later, we received a statement from the doctor showing a balance of $3,000 for charges owed and not approved by the insurance agency. This was in addition to the amount we had previously paid.

At first, my wife and I were very despondent and reasoned that we could pay the balance over time. But we both knew that the teachings we had been hearing from Pastor Prince about God’s favor and blessings would be applied in this situation. We just did not know how God would handle it.

One morning, as I was driving to an appointment, I was listening to a message from Pastor Prince entitled, Feeding On God’s Word For Your Healing And Success—Part 2. He shared the story of the prophet Zechariah and what he said to Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah. Zechariah told the governor, “Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’” (Zechariah 4:7).

Pastor Prince then encouraged the congregation to lift up one hand as an expression of the mountain in their lives—be it a problem of health, fear, worry, or financial lack—and to shout “Grace, grace!” to it.

As I was driving, I lifted one hand up, imagined that medical bill as my mountain, followed Pastor Prince in the sermon and repeated after him as he declared, “Lord Jesus, not by might, not by power, but by your Spirit. Grace, grace! Grace, grace! Grace, grace into this situation, in Jesus’ name, Amen!” He then told us to take a step back and not to worry about the mountain any longer because God was taking over the situation, and to let Him handle it completely.

Two hours later, I got a call from my wife, who said she had spoken to the doctor’s office about the bill and they told her that the balance was zero. Not only did the balance clear up, they also told my wife that they owed us $420 and were sending us a check in the mail.

God is good and His mercy endures forever! Thank you, Pastor Prince, for your teachings. God bless you and your ministry and may the Lord continue to be glorified through you.
