Misplaced Wallet Restored With Contents Intact

After watching a movie, I went home and when I was about to go to bed, I realized my wallet was missing. I searched all over the house but I couldn’t find it. I was dismayed. I figured I must have accidentally dropped it during the movie.

I became very worried as all my important documents such as my identification card, driving license, and debit card were inside my wallet. I was also really afraid that my parents would scold me for my carelessness.

At that moment, I remembered your teachings about casting all our cares upon our Lord Jesus, and to let go and let Him handle our problems. Instantly, I felt hope and peace begin to flow inside me. There was still a part of my mind that struggled with having faith, but I chose to believe that the Lord was taking care of my wallet.

I decided to go to bed instead of heading back to the cinema to search for my wallet because it was already late in the night. But before sleeping, I took a moment to speak to the Lord. I told Him how if I recovered my wallet the next day, I would want to testify of His goodness and mercy for the rest of my life.

The next day, I returned to the cinema and thank God, one of the cleaners had found my wallet and kept it for me. All my money and cards were intact—nothing was missing!

I shared the good news with my mother and she suggested that I bless the cleaner with some money as a token of appreciation. I believe that was the Lord speaking to me through my mom. Hallelujah! All glory to Jesus!
