Mother Protected from COVID-19

My mother has been a dialysis patient for more than 2 years. Last month, we received news from the dialysis center that one of their patients had tested positive for COVID-19, and all patients were required to undergo a swab test. My mother could not sleep well as she was worried she might have been infected. When we went for the swab test, I told her not to worry as God is with us.

Two days later, I tuned in to New Creation Church’s online service and watched Pastor Prince’s sermon “Five Words to Live By—The Battle Is the Lord’s.” I watched the service twice and held on to the Lord’s promise of a negative result for my mother’s swab test. I partook of the holy Communion and even placed the receipt for the swab test in my Bible on the page with the verse, “Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed” (1 Pet. 2:24).

While waiting to collect the test results, I kept praying and declaring the battle is the Lord’s. The result was negative for COVID-19! I cried for joy as I experienced the faithfulness of our Lord Jesus. All glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ.
