I received Jesus Christ in 2005, but after a while, I fell into a life of sin. I still had faith in Jesus Christ, but living in sin brought condemnation into my heart whenever I went to church and heard the preacher preach. I wanted to live a life that pleased God but sin had a hold over me.

Six years later, I chanced upon Joseph Prince’s teaching on Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN), and I was blessed. As I listened, I started to gravitate toward God’s love for me, and the condemnation started to ease. When I was in hospital for a small injury, I asked my sister to get Joseph Prince’s book Unmerited Favor. But the book was out of stock so she got me Grace Revolution instead.

I read the book in and out of the hospital, and wow, I was greatly blessed. I saw that righteousness is not a demand from God but a gift. I wanted to know more so I finished the book, and it became clear to me that righteousness is a gift God gave to me for FREE through Jesus Christ. I started making declarations that “I am the righteousness of God, and I am righteous in Christ Jesus.”

Before I knew it, I had no craving or lust for sin. I did not want to sin anymore. I am glad to say that today, I am living a life that pleases God, and I’m enjoying it. Before this, I was practicing sex before marriage, but today, I’m abstaining from all sex outside of marriage, and offering my body as a living sacrifice to God (Rom. 12:1). I am believing God for marriage now.
