No More Homeless, Family Blessed With Land And Home

I am 58 years old and have been a Christian since childhood. My husband and I got involved with drugs and that began our 40-year journey on the run from the law with our eight kids.

Life on the run was hard. We were homeless much of the time or we lived in tents or in one-room hotels as we couldn’t rent apartments. I had to steal to provide for the kids. They were also not in school for most of their years but I’d taught them what I knew of the Bible. My worst struggle was the battle going on in my mind and in my heart. It was not until I started listening to Joseph Prince that my life began making sense.

I never had much teaching on grace. I got to know about Pastor Prince through one of my great uncles. I wish I had been taught the gospel of grace earlier. I can testify to the superabounding grace of God—where sin abounds, grace much more abounds! My sin was great for the past 40 years, but His grace and favor were with me always, and in ways you wouldn't believe!

God never forsook me even when I was in the pit of my own making. In fact, God honored my faith throughout these years, even if it was misplaced. We saw His faithfulness through the times we were imprisoned. He protected my unborn children from the drugs I was using and the lack of prenatal care. He also enabled me to forgive my abusive, adulterous husband.

My husband is now a believer and my kids are all grown up and healthy. I now get right teaching, thanks to Joseph! God has also blessed us with two acres of land, a 1600 square feet home that we paid $10,000 for and is now valued at $140,000. My husband is a union carpenter and was even a guest speaker at a Prison Ministry Conference. As for me, I share my testimony at women's conferences, retreats and Bible studies. I’m also writing a book about my journey.
