Even though I gave my life to Christ, I was constantly asking for forgiveness and always feeling irritated. I depended on my self-righteousness to earn God’s blessing and would fast for 21 days to atone for my mistakes.

After reading Unmerited Favor, the daily devotionals and other messages of grace that God has put in Pastor Joseph Prince’s heart, I began to receive the love of God and believe that He will not withhold any good thing from me because of Jesus’ perfect finished work on the cross for me. The irritation vanished and I also stopped taking drugs.

Now, I depend on God to help me each time I face a challenge. I have a better understanding of the verses, “perfect love cast out fears” (1 John 4:18) and “there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). I also know why the gospel is called the good news.
