I am a medical student and was extremely nervous about my second-term examinations after a discouraging meeting with my personal tutor.

Despite passing the first semester in medicine, he told me my performance wasn’t good enough and claimed there wasn’t enough time to prepare for part 2. This left me so anxious that I couldn’t even begin revising. My anxiety kept me from attending lectures, and I felt like a complete failure. The pressure and expectations of studying medicine overwhelmed me.

In desperation, I decided to leave everything to God and studied wherever I could. I knew I couldn’t cover all the topics, but I trusted in God’s provision. Whenever worry crept in, I turned to praise reports on Joseph Prince’s website and reminded myself that it wasn’t about how much I had studied or my hard work. It was all about the finished work of Jesus and His righteousness that put me in right standing with God. I declared before every exam that I had the mind of Christ and believed that He, who created the human body, couldn’t fail any test.

Despite feeling terrible during the exams and thinking they were the hardest I had ever taken, I kept reminding myself that Jesus had taken the exams for me. I thanked Him for passing the exams on my behalf.

On results day, my anxiety was through the roof, and I barely slept the night before. When I finally opened my results, I was stunned to see that I had passed with excellent marks! Praise God. I passed every component. I didn’t deserve it, but God blessed me abundantly. He is a kind and loving Father, and I’m deeply grateful to Joseph Prince for preaching the gospel.
