Quick Recovery From Bad Cold After Hearing Sermon

I’d woken up one morning with yellow mucus coming out of my nose after three days of having a sore throat and a really bad cold. That got me worried about coming down with a fever because I had a deadline to meet.

The night before, I had been playing some sermons from Joseph Prince, and he was talking about how the devil attacks our body when we are already under stress, causing us to be ill. He also mentioned that our healing can come by faith received through hearing. So I quickly whispered to Jesus, thanking Him that by His stripes, He had borne all my diseases, including this bad cold.

I was still having discharge from my nose but I did not want to take any medication because I believed that Jesus would heal me. Instead, I went to sleep for about three hours and when I woke up the second time, my nose was cleared and no longer blocked. Even my throat felt better!

I'm so excited because I hate falling ill and more importantly, I saw God’s Word in action! And thanks to Jesus, I was well able to meet the deadline!
