I have a small frame but by the grace of God, have given birth to six children “au naturel.” Although three of them were well over nine pounds, my longest labor was just two hours and 56 minutes. Now, I am a grandmother to 12 amazing children and had just begun to feel the effects of the weight of it all on my small frame.

Then, I found Pastor Prince’s relevatory teaching on the Holy Communion! I bought the teaching set and began taking Holy Communion EVERY day. Then, I heard Pastor Prince teach about how some were taking it several times a day and so I, too, began to take it several times a day.

Without really noticing exactly when it happened, the pain I had pretty much assumed was part of the aging process dissipated and I forgot about it...until recently, in the midst of a busy and exhausting time, I began experiencing it again.

I had a particularly difficult day in the week and I cried out to God, asking Him what had happened? Why was I hurting again after so many months of not hurting? He answered me promptly: “Your busyness has made you forgotten our time of Communion. You awake hurrying about your daily activities and fall asleep exhausted at night.”

Instantly, I knew that He was talking about the Communion because there were nights I would dream I had taken it, only to awake the next morning realizing that I hadn’t. I’ll resolve not to forget that evening but only to forget again. And I felt so humbled that I had taken the Lord’s love and provision so lightly.

So this morning, I awoke, and before anything else, I partook of the Communion. I will do this again as many times throughout the day as I feel Him calling, and as the last thing I do before I close my eyes to sleep—not as a ritual, but as a remembrance and rejoicing in our relationship!

Thank You, Lord Jesus. I love You because You first loved me!
