Pastor Prince, I am a twenty-year-old male from Alta, Norway. I grew up feeling insecure because my parents divorced when I was five. My dad was also unaffectionate toward me because he did not receive any love from his own father.

I always had this question: Is there something I have or have not done that isn’t pleasing to my father? I was afraid that my father would abandon me if I did not do good.

When I became a Christian at age thirteen, I had the same perspective about God the Father. I believed that if I didn’t do good, He would eventually forsake me.

But thanks to the grace of God, He showed me through your ministry that His presence in my life is a GIFT! And that there is nothing I can do to earn or lose His presence. I also learned that my works and performance are not conditions for God’s love and approval. Because of His grace through the cross, I am freed from the works of the law!

Today, I know that I am safe and secure in Daddy God’s love because He is good and loves to protect me—even when I haven’t done any good deeds. He loves me, just because He loves me!

I also want to mention that my hunger and passion for the gospel have increased in such a beautiful way. My “have to’s” about evangelizing have become “want to’s.” Today, I have a deep desire to see people made whole through receiving the gifts of salvation and restoration that Jesus paid for with His blood.

My hunger for the Word has also increased. I now love to look for Daddy God’s grace for me in the Bible. My understanding of the Bible has also changed—I know that the God who is speaking to me through the Word is not a harsh God who demands perfect obedience, but a good Father who just loves to spend time with me.

My understanding of righteousness has changed too. I now know and believe that righteousness is truly a gift that I simply receive through Christ and His finished work. I am so thankful for this gift. And as I walk in my identity as the righteous in Christ, God gives me the grace and power to reign in life as it says in Romans 5:17.

I have been reading your Daily Grace Inspirations for two years now. I also listen to your podcasts and have read your book Grace Revolution. Your book Destined To Reign is next on my list!

Thank you, Pastor Prince. Your ministry has opened my eyes to grace and the gospel. I will forever live confidently because I know that my foundation and security in God’s love and grace are not based on my self-efforts, but Jesus’ finished work on the cross.

I am so thankful for your ministry and how you preach the gospel in a way that gives me and people all over the world the confidence to come boldly to our Daddy in heaven! Your grace message has been something I really needed to hear to be freed from strongholds in my life.
