Recently, I was slicing an apple with a regular kitchen knife and not a fruit knife. At the back of my mind, I remembered thinking, “I am holding the apple and the knife in a dangerous way,” and then the knife sliced through the apple and I saw that the edge of the knife scrape the top of the knuckle of my thumb. I was in shock, but the first thing I said instinctively was, “Thank You, Jesus, for protecting me.”

After running the thumb under cold water, I expected to see at least a little blood, but there was none! The world would call this “lucky,” but I am pretty sure that if the Lord had not been protecting me, I would be missing a thumb right now. And to think that just the night before this incident had happened, I’d cried and spoken to the Lord accusingly over something I was distressed about. Yet, I know He did not hold my doubts and moments of unbelief against me.

This incident is just one of the many miracles that have happened in my life since coming to know the grace of our Lord Jesus and the love of Abba Father through the daily broadcasts from Joseph Prince Ministries. Besides this miracle, I have been experiencing success in my schoolwork.

I am a Singaporean studying in the United States. Yet, my work has often been admired by other students in the school, to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have found that spending time in the Word leads to much better success, even though it seems like there is an impossible amount of work. When He is at the center, everything falls into place beautifully.

The Lord is so good! Praise the Lord for directing me to Pastor Prince’s messages via a stranger I met on the train. Thank you, Pastor Prince, and the team at Joseph Prince Ministries, for sending out messages that warm hearts and open minds to Jesus’ love and glory. What comes to my mind when I think about this is, “I was once full of darkness, but now I am filled with light.”
