I am a single mother to my five-year-old son.

Despite going to church for more than 20 years, I never knew that Jesus loves me, even when I recited the Bible verse, John 3:16—“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

I cried out to God for help when I got pregnant in 2007 and didn’t know what to do. From then on, I knew God was not mad at me and everything would be all right. Even though I stopped going to church until my son was born in July 2008, God had already started restoring me.

During the two-year period when I stayed home to take care of my son, I tuned in to a sermon by Pastor Prince on Family TV, a Trinity Broadcasting Network station. For once, I heard something refreshing! That something was the gospel of grace! I then began listening in to Destined To Reign on a radio program every day at midnight, Kenyan time. I also subscribe to Meditate & Believe Right via email and it feeds me daily.

It has been an amazing walk for me and now I see how Jesus held me close during my lowest point in life and still holds me today. Being a single mom is challenging but consistently listening to the message of grace helps me a lot. I now know that Jesus loves my son and me. He truly cares for us and delights in being ALL that we need.

Thank you so much, Pastor Prince, for preaching the message of grace and revealing the beauty of my Jesus—He really is the breath of fresh air.
