When my sister was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer, the news devastated her and her family of three boys. After meeting with her doctor, I prayed for God’s protection and healing for my sister. Then I told Satan he would NOT win this battle—even if cancer took my sister, I knew she was going to heaven. I told the devil to get behind God and us, and watch us triumph!

My sister went through numerous rounds of chemotherapy. Each time, she would be deathly sick for weeks because she was allergic to the treatment. Later, the doctors said there was nothing else they could do except to keep her as comfortable as possible.

Again, I prayed to God and reminded the devil that he would not win this battle. I began researching online and found a cancer treatment center in Atlanta. The center immediately took my sister in for a week-long review.

After that, the center accepted her as a patient and began a regimen of holistic treatments that included prayer with their staff clergy. During each appointment, they would ask if they could pray over us.

After six months of treatment, a positron emission tomography (PET) scan showed that my sister was cancer-free! Today, she is alive, healthy, and praising God. She has been sharing her testimony with churches and they have been blessed. God is good!

Had I not heard Pastor Prince preach, I would never have had known the power and victory I have as a child of God. I learned that Satan had already been defeated at the cross. We can simply call out his defeat by quoting Scripture promises aloud. As God faithfully took care of my sister, the devil had to tuck his tail and run!
