Transformed And Excited To Preach The Gospel

I can’t tell you enough how the message of grace has transformed our lives.

I was an associate pastor in a church that taught a mixture of law and grace. Under that ministry, I felt like I had to prove my love for God, to earn His favor with my spiritual discipline, and win people for Him.

After four years of doing this, I was emotionally and spiritually exhausted and my marriage was also stretched thin. So when God opened up a door for my wife and me to go to seminary, we took it as a break, not knowing if we would ever enter pastoral ministry again.

It was in seminary that a friend recommended that I listen to Pastor Joseph Prince’s sermons. Through the sermons, I realized that Christ’s finished work on the cross has already purchased God’s undeserved affection and favor for me. As I focused on how much God loves me, my love for Him flowed effortlessly in response. This gospel is truly good news!

Now, my wife and I are convinced that we are called to preach this gospel of grace and see God free others from the bondage of self-righteous works. I can’t wait for my schooling to end in four months’ time so that we can preach and teach His grace full-time.
