I am from India but currently doing my Master’s degree in the United States. When I arrived in the country, my sister-in-law gave me Joseph Prince’s book The Prayer of Protection. I started reading the book and since then I’ve made Psalm 91 my daily prayer. My fiancé and I are also reading Psalm 91 together daily.

One day, my fiancé and I were traveling in our car heading home. We were traveling within the speed limit but at the traffic signal, a driver who was making a left turn did not give way to us and collided into us. When I realized I was still breathing and alive, the only words I could utter were, “Thank You, Jesus!”

Our airbags were deployed, our windshield cracked, and our car was totally damaged. But all glory to Jesus, we were safe and we didn’t even have a single scratch on our bodies. The driver and his passenger in the other car were safe too.

I believe that Psalm 91 is really a prayer of protection and it protected my fiancé and me from being hurt in the accident. That night, we read Psalm 91 and thanked God for protecting us.
