I am nine years old and I love rhythmic gymnastics.

On February 22, 2014, I was in a team performance consisting of my sister, three other girls, and myself for a Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition. That day, I saw the power of the Holy Communion, anointing oil, and praying in tongues.

This competition was held in Devon, and we left for the venue a day before the competition date. Before leaving home, we had Holy Communion together.

On the competition day, I was very nervous, but I kept telling myself, “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.” I applied the anointing oil on myself and trusted in Jesus.

During the performance, I felt the Holy Spirit guiding my legs. It was later that my mom told me she had been praying in tongues for me.

Finally, it was time for the awards. The announcer called our team and I walked forward to get our medals. Then, I heard the word, “GOLD!” We’d come in first place! It was Jesus who gave us the victory!
