It’s been 3 years since my husband and I relocated to Australia. Many people could not comprehend why we moved without securing jobs. However, we felt led by the Spirit that it was the right decision and decided to relocate by faith. Despite many challenges, we kept on claiming God’s promises and faithfulness.

Within 3 days on arrival in Australia, we secured a nice rental house with lovely landlords. My husband received 2 full-time job offers within the first 3 months. This is quite unheard of as many Australian employers demand applicants to have local work experience, which we did not have. In the natural, it was almost impossible to get a full-time job so quickly. However, we have a heavenly Father who always provides and works miracles.

As for me, I sent in many resumés and attended a few interviews. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful. There were times when I felt discouraged and self-doubt crept in. Whenever that happened, I read Pastor Prince’s books and watched his sermons on the app and felt the peace of God wash over me. I knew my Abba had reserved a wonderful job for me. I also declared Bible verses over myself daily.

Later on, I sent in a job application to an employment agent. To my surprise, the agent told me he had a better job for me. Before I went for the interview, I told Jesus, “I cannot, but You can.” I also remember Pastor Prince telling us to pray not just for a job but also a position. The interview went really well, and I secured the job the next day.

God’s blessings didn’t stop there. My new role is a higher position than my last job in Singapore, and I have a 60 percent pay increase! This is not possible in the natural because I have no local work experience. Indeed, God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think. To God be all the glory!

After almost 2 years of searching, we bought our own house here last year. During that time, property prices were through the roof, and I remember asking God how we could afford our own place. Worry and doubt crept in, and I finally told Jesus, “We can’t, but You can.” Without fail, God provided exceedingly and abundantly again. We got a place that is in a good location, with more space than we need, and at a price we could afford. I believe Jesus prepared the house for us.

My husband and I are doing well overseas by God’s grace. He has also kept our families back in Singapore safe and healthy during the global pandemic. We still watch Pastor Prince’s sermons online every week. We are very blessed by this ministry and are really grateful more people from all over the world can have access to his teachings.

All glory to Jesus! He is indeed our provider.
