Accepted into Dream Course in School

I am a 15-year-old from Durban, South Africa. I have been watching Pastor Prince’s programs on television since 2018.

Toward the end of 2020, the time came for me to choose my school course. I have always dreamed and asked God that I would be an architect one day. I wanted to choose the course for that career path but was warned that I needed good marks to get accepted into the course. I knew I wasn’t that smart and was discouraged as I thought the course was only for geniuses.

I kept tuning in to Pastor Prince’s programs and heard about how I can ask anything of God. I was led to tell the Lord how I felt and how much I wanted to enroll in the course. Although it didn’t happen immediately, the worry and stress went away, and I began to trust God. I applied for the course and had to wait some time to hear from the school.

While waiting, I had anxious thoughts telling me smarter kids would get accepted instead of me, but I got out my headphones and kept listening to Pastor Prince’s videos on YouTube. I kept hearing about how big our God is regardless of our circumstances and declared Luke 1:37—“For with God nothing will be impossible.”

In the end, the results came back, and I was accepted for the course. I jumped for joy and praised the Lord! I had also encouraged a believer friend of mine that they would be accepted, and they got in too. Now I am pursuing my dream to be an architect, and any time I slack off, I remind myself of the greatness ahead of me and that I’m doing it for our Lord Jesus.

It’s all because of God’s goodness that I am where I am today. I thank God every day for Pastor Prince’s ministry, which unveils the loveliness of our Lord Jesus and how He can be a best friend to us. May God bless you, Pastor Prince, and all the praise goes to Jesus for His goodness.
