The Lord Jesus led me to your ministry five years ago when I was at a very tough place in my life.

At that time, I had lost my job in Atlanta, Georgia, and just moved to St Louis, Missouri, for another position. The economic challenges then had affected my prospective employer, and as a result, the promised job did not materialize. I really needed another job because I had used most of my financial resources after supporting and caring for my mother for four years while she was in the final stages of Alzhiemer’s Disease.

During that period, your teaching of the gospel of grace was so important and timely in my life. Each time I listened to you share the Word of God and as I read your books and devotionals, I found myself falling in love with Jesus all over again. I was finding my first love after knowing and serving Jesus for more than 45 years!

As part of my job search process, I went through more than 100 job interviews at various organizations. One university had me go through 29 interviews! The day before their final decision was made, the chancellor of that university was on television announcing a hiring freeze for all positions due to the shrinking of the university’s endowment fund. I was truly at the end of my rope with nothing left to trust in but Jesus. And He was fully sufficient!

The Lord met my needs and led me to a good yet affordable place to live. He provided a job for me just at the moment my financial resources ran out. He also made it possible for me to manage my finances to become debt free.

I now have a fine condominium apartment that I dedicated and named “Charis” because it is a gift of grace to me. Not only did the Lord meet my needs, He restored what had been lost and brought me to a much better place in my life. To God be the glory!

To say that I am thankful for your ministry in my life is an understatement. What I love most is that you reveal Jesus to me in all of His loveliness. Nothing is more important to me than that!
