In 2010, my husband’s business was failing, our marriage was on the brink of divorce, and we were in dire financial straits. I gave my husband an ultimatum—either he close down his business and get a salaried job, or I would be filing for divorce. This saw a complete one hundred and eighty degree turnaround in my husband and within a month of receiving that ultimatum, he got a job. However, times were still tough as we were still paying off a huge amount of debt.

At that time, a friend started sending me Daily Grace Inspirations from Joseph Prince Ministries. Reading them each day was like opening up a personal love letter from God, as the messages I received seemed to be written specifically for me with the very words of encouragement I needed. With time, I started believing that I was under God’s grace and the blessings started pouring in.

Neither my husband nor I were creditworthy, but when we needed to buy a car for his new job, a friend offered to buy a car in his name for our use. One of my previous employers also sought me out to inform me that I had previously not received all the benefits I should have received from their pension fund when I left the company. I received a substantial sum of money that allowed us to pay off our debt and still have enough to buy me a small second car. This also meant that my children and I no longer needed to walk to and from school and work every day.

Today, we are still living in God’s grace and are so aware of His blessings in our lives. It has been four years since I first received my first Daily Grace Inspiration, but I still cannot wait to open up my email every day and read my love letter from God.
