My 5-year marriage kept facing so many challenges, especially those that concerned our relationship with each other. It was as if we would take 2 steps forward only to take 3 steps backward. Whenever we had victories, they were exhausting victories, and some didn’t even last. Many times, I wanted to give up but held on because I knew it was important to God that I did.

Just over a month ago, I shared a marriage prayer request through the JPM website, and I was led to their digital prayer. It was the 1st time I had seen it done this way, and I thought it was a great experience. Given how frustrated I was, I cried as I prayed along through most of the session.

I want to testify that since then, there has been a significant shift in our relationship. I can’t explain it fully, but there is something different in a really good way. We have not argued in a while, and our affection and respect for each other have deepened. It’s not perfect, but our relationship now has a godly hope in it. God has shown us His mercy and favor, and we are so grateful.
