Even though my wife and I had been married for twelve years, we had not been able to conceive. We consulted a specialist and discovered that my wife only had one (instead of two) fallopian tube. It was also blocked by scar tissue from a previous pregnancy complication.

We tried in vitro fertilization but were unsuccessful. After having spent about $10,000 from our savings on top of $12,000 on insurance, it was devastating news. We began to seek God in prayer and look for answers.

On February 19, 2016, I woke up at 5.15am and watched Pastor Prince preach on Daystar Television. For a moment, I saw him pause, look into the camera, and address television viewers. He quoted 2 Kings 4:16 and said viewers can look forward to embracing a child “this time next year.”

Wow! I leaped from my bed and started thanking God for that word! I believed it had come straight from heaven for me. Later that morning, I showed a recording of the message to my wife. I told her I believed God had spoken to me through Pastor Prince—that we would be embracing a child by the following year.

On December 9, 2016, my wife gave birth to our beautiful son, Thadeus Josiah. Thadeus means gift of God and Josiah means fire of God. We now embrace a fiery gift of God!
