The message of grace has filled my life with the knowledge that God is for me and His favor is upon my family and me. The peace that comes from that revelation sustained me during the time my daughter moved from Florida to California to look for a job.

In August 2012, I asked the Lord for a word of reassurance about her move. He gave me Hosea 2:14–15, which mentioned the Valley of Achor (trouble) becoming a door of hope. I held on to the word.

Subsequently, Pastor Prince shared a wonderful message titled, Discover The Door Of Hope In Your Valley Of Trouble, in November 2012. At the end, he said that God had a verse for us and it was Hosea 2:14–15. I knew that God had given that word as a confirmation for me.

Soon after, my daughter met some ladies at church and attended their home group gathering. One of the ladies, who worked in the human resource department, told my daughter about two openings in her company. One opening was in Florida but my daughter was underqualified for the job. The other opening was in California and it had lower requirements. My daughter applied for the job in California, but heard no news afterwards.

In April 2013, due to little success in her job application, my daughter moved back to Florida. However, in the following month, she was contacted for an interview for the opening in California. To our surprise, her interview and test scores were so good that they hired her for the position in Florida!

Praise the Lord Jesus for sending me His Word all the way from Singapore just to assure me!
