I grew up as a Christian under legalistic teachings and had repeatedly tried different methods to quit smoking and live a righteous life based on my own efforts. But I always failed.

My ultimate victory over my 20-year smoking addiction came after a few months of confessing my righteousness in Christ even while lighting up my cigarettes.

Today, I no longer struggle with condemnation and live freely and victoriously as a beloved child of God. Thank You, Jesus, for Your finished work on the cross that brought me the gift of righteousness by the grace of God. Hallelujah, to God be the glory!
