Family and Home Protected from Fire Hazard

Some time ago, I was working at home and had placed a pot of water on the stove to cook noodles. I had the stove on high heat to boil the water quickly.

When I got back to my computer, I saw that my mother had called in about my son hurting his shoulder in school. So I grabbed my things and rushed to his school to take him to the children’s urgent care. Thank the Lord my son had no fractures. As soon as we left the urgent care, we went to pick up my daughter from her basketball game and went home together.

Once we walked through the door, my son asked, “What’s that smell?” I quickly ran to the kitchen. The pot I had on the stove was still being heated on high heat with no water in it. I’m so thankful for Abba’s divine protection not just for me and my family but also for our 3 neighbors in the same complex who would have been affected had a fire broken out.

I thank God for you, Pastor Prince, for being our pastor and for New Creation Church being our church family. We have no church family here at the moment. However, I’m grateful that we have you guys, and by God’s grace, we will continue to be part of your family even when we find a church home here in Virginia.
